Great product for the price

Very Good product. No problems or regrets. Took them to Costa Rica and they did everything I needed. Once or twice I found myself wishing that I'd sprung for the "zoom" model. I have had the Nikon Travelite II for 20+ years and they still work fine.

I purchased these for my mother, who specifically requested binoculars that weren't heavy or bulky, and she was really pleased with them. They provide very clear magnification, are easy to focus and the case is really good. Could use a lens cap for the other side, but other than that they're great.

Although I could write a book about these, theres no need to. These are simply the best pair of compact binos I own. Crisp, clear, sharp, lightweight, good looking, well-built, great-quality...the list goes on. Bak-4 high index prisms make images pop and the clicking diopter is extemely helpful, too. My 14 year old son put these to his eyes and said, "Everything looks fake." Not to mention, Adorama shipped it on the same day with eligible for free shipping. Buy 'em!

Great Nikon Optics

Positives
- Very sharp image and bright for small lens
- Solid contruction
- Good left/right focus adjustment
- Nice case

Negative
- Lens cap for eyepiece only. They don't spend nickel in plastic to provide for other end.
- 9X magnification can be shakey and more noticable with such small field of view

Overall, would buy again but possibly give up magnification and go with 8x for more stable view.

This is a very good quality binocular for the price. Received on time.
Bought as a gift for my brother and end up bought the second one for myself.
