Product Description
Nikon StabilEyes 16x32, The image stabilized StabilEyes offers hunters rock-steady, high magnification viewing and spotting in a waterproof/fogproof package. Hand-holding a high magnification binocular is difficult, but when it's cold outside, it's windy - or you're just plain excited - getting a sharp, steady image can be nearly impossible. Nikon developed the StabilEyes binoculars to effectively eliminate those blurred high magnification images. To achieve this incredible image stabilization, StabilEyes used a servo control system with the prisms supported by gimbals to provide a view that is unaffected by either shake or vibration. All lenses are fully multicoated, and all prisms are phase-correction coated for the ultimate in brightness and resolution. Uses 2 AA batteries, included. -Focusing System- Center Focus -Magnification- 16X -Objective Diameter- 32mm -Angular field of view (real)- 3.8 -Angular field of view (apparent)- 60.8 -Field of view at 1000 yards- 198 ft. -Close Focus Distance- 11.5 ft. -Exit Pupil- 2 mm -Relative Brightness- 4 -Eye Relief- 15mm -Length- 7.1" (181mm) -Width- 5.6" (142mm) -Weight (without batteries)- 39.5 oz. Fantastic binoculars!

These binos are so wonderful! For just one example, from my backporch I was able to watch in amazing detail an Eastern Bluebird work on eating a grasshopper. I watched for several minutes, and shared the experience with a friend sitting out there with me. They are so clear and so steady, and relatively very portable - I had the Fuji 14x stabilizing binos and also I have used the Canon 12x - these Nikons have exceeded all my expectations.
