Bushnell Powerview 7x35 Reviews

rated 5 out of 5 The Perfect Choice
by Thaddeus G Warren from San Francisco, CA United States, 2010-07-21

These binoculars are the first larger 'non-compact' pair I've owned and I'm VERY happy with them. They proved to be the perfect choice for our vacation to UT, AZ, NM this summer; sturdy, comfortable, relatively lightweight, fairly compact, and really powerful. They have a good crisp focusing ability and not too tight of a field of vision. Not quite the "wide angle" I naively assumed they'd have, but still a comfortably expansive view and way better than compact binoculars in that sense. Just right for checking out the wildlife and scenery. I was really surprised at how fun it was to look at the night sky while camping. Granted, we live in San Francisco and I was convinced stars were a myth... but never mind that. It was a moonless sky, but these binoculars literally add 100X more stars to what you're able to see with the naked eye. Very cool! Now if I can just get rid of the crick in my neck. My only complaint is that the soft carrying case is kind've cheap and I wish it came with a nicer hard case. If you're looking for a versatile/everyday type of binocular this is a good choice.

rated 3 out of 5 Cheap but functional wide angle binoculars
by L. Kelly from Wadsworth, OH USA, 2010-02-20

I bought this binoculars to view sporting events where a wide field of view is helpful. The Bushnell's fill that role at a low cost. As always, you get what you pay for. The cheap carrying strap would not thread through the slots on the binoculars because it was too wide. Not that I cared much anyway, as it was the cheesiest strap I've ever seen. Tossed it in the waste basket. But, to my untrained eye, the view from the Bushnell is fine for my needs. And the cost was so low, if I leave them by mistake in the bleachers, well, who cares?

rated 4 out of 5 Good value, very good product

After much research, I decided to go with these binoculars. I was not dissapointed. I basically use them for the hockey games I go to, and they work really well. The only thing I had difficulty with was putting the strap on the binoculars. They came with a plastic neck strap that had to be threaded through a loop on the top of the binoculars and then secured with a button like device. It was very difficult to attach the strap, but that might have just been an issue I had. Overall, I highly reccomend the product as it is a very good value for the price.
