Terrible packaging!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered the Bushnell Perma Focus 8x25 Binoculars. When I received the item I was shocked. The Postal Service had to tape the box, because it was open, and it was crushed and torn. I then opened it, and found that Amazon didn't even take the time to put the item in bubble wrap or insert pop corn. The binoculars were sent back, because although they didn't appear to be damaged, I wasn't taking a chance. I bottom line is, I will NEVER deal with Amazon again. I emailed Customer Support, and never received a reply.

The Bushnell Perma Focus 8x25 Binoculars are the perfect set for children. The Perma Focus feature allows children to quickly view either a game or wildlife without constantly fiddling with the focusing part of the binoculars. They are a great size for packing away as well. The only drawback is the level of zoom. For a child's first set of binoculars or someone watching a sporting event, they are an excellent choice. Highly recommended.

I am very tiny and have a difficult time seeing through the regular type binculars. This is nice because it adjusts to a small face. My only fault with it is that it does NOT adjust focus (hence the term PERMA FOCUS). I bought it for my mother thinking it was just like the one I purchased for my husband. I returned it because I wanted a pair that you could adjust. However, that is my only complaint and it has nothing to with with quality. It has a very sharp clear focus for distance, has a nice feel in your hands and is not so light-weight that it feels cheap but is not so heavy that it weighs you down. :-)

This is a replacement for binoculars destroyed in the Santa Barbara, CA Tea Fire Nov. 2008. Our son is very pleased with these in that they are small enough to fit into his pocket, are already focused, and bring the ocean into view quite nicely from their temporary home in the hills.

Perfect! No focus to constantly fiddle with in a live theatre show. Fits nicely in most any purse (without the case) and one can enjoy actors' facial expressions and even the most smallest detail of their elaborate costumes and jewelry all the way from the upper balcony! I bought this extra set of Bushnell binoculars for our daughter when she'd accompany me to the theatre. Excellent value and fit the bill perfectly! I also enjoy watching wildlife in my backyard with them too. I even used them to jot down the license plate of a suspicious car in our neighborhood once. The only minor adjustment I made to them is I replaced the wide bulky strap with a long, slimmer, lanyard--never know when you'll have a standing ovation and it's good that you can comfortably put them around your neck.
