Product Description

For those who prefer the traditional style of a porro prism bino, this Legend lineup is a crowd pleaser. Like the Legend roof prism models, Rainguard and premium BaK-4 prisms top the list of features to brag about - delivering crisp, clear images in rain, snow and fog. The textured, grippy rubber-armored housing not only stands up to hard use but provides a firm grasp in wet conditions.

Bushnell 19-1050 Reviews

rated 5 out of 5 Good Solid Binocular
by David Robert , 2009-10-19

The last time I had purchased a binocular was a Bushnell 8x25 in 1975 at the PX while serving in Korea. I'm still happy with that little pair, but I decided I needed a second pair and purchased the Bushnell 10X50 Porro WP. Wow! Except for the larger size this binocular is a pleasure to use. Everything is extremely bright and clear seen through this binocular. Its water and fog proof capability gives confidence for using them in any outdoor conditions.
Unfortunately(for my pocket book), purchasing this pair has awakened a curiosity in the difference between different binoculars. Bushnell's Elite line are sold for around a thousand dollars and the Porro Prism Legend just over a hundred. The Legend is so nice it is hard to imagine what kind of difference could be found for that spread in price. I did purchase another 10X50 no brand name cheap pair for around twenty dollars from a mail order vendor and there is no comparison between the Legend and the cheap pair even though they are both 10x50. The cheap pair are junk that will either sit on the shelf or be given to a 5 or 6 year old that might appreciate them while the Legend invites you to use them. If someone were using the cheap pair and then tried the Legend they would feel they had emerged from the dark-ages. Even my 8x25 Bushnell's are superior to the cheap pair.
I am quite happy with my Bushnell Legend 10x50. I feel like they are good quality for the price paid.
